NEPAFLAM contains Nepafenac which belongs to a group of medicines known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).  It is used to prevent and relieve eye pain and inflammation and reduces the risk of macular oedema following cataract surgery on the eye in diabetic patients.

Use this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose you use will depend on your age, other medications you are taking and whether you have any kidney or liver problems. This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 18 years of age and pregnant women. The common side effects are nausea, vomiting, headache and dizziness. Consult your doctor for advice. Avoid driving or handling of machines while using this medicine, since it may cause blurred vision. Avoid sunlight during using this medicine.
